I thought I was going to hate this mouse. I didn’t buy it when it first launched late last year, because it had some of the most polarizing reviews I’ve ever seen for a gaming product. I was hoping to give it a go as my first mouse-with-holes as it’s coated to protect the innards from damage, and I’ve enjoyed SteelSeries stuff in the past. But I was turned away by the weird tirade of hate that’s out there.

I should have listened to my gut. The Aerox 3 Wireless is super cool, and only a few steps away from being one of the best gaming mice you can buy at any price. It has a feature set and design that can stand right up there with other flagships, and a price that’s very competitive. But the lows might ruin it for you.

Note: I bought this mouse myself at Best Buy. I don’t get a kick back if you decide to buy one. None of the links in any of my articles are affiliate links as I don’t believe in the practice. For more info about how I review products and monetize my writing, please click here.
