JBL Quantum 350 Wireless Gaming Headset Review
Last year, at the start of a global pandemic and against all expectations, JBL launched the huge Quantum family of gaming products. They came out of the gate strong, with seven different headset models ranging in price from $40 all the way up to $300.
I tried out the 300 and the ONE, which despite its name is actually the top model in the range. They were both good as far as sound and comfort go. The 300 had some initial issues with mic quality that were later patched, and although the ONE has an amazing pile of features, not all of them worked perfectly for me.
This year, JBL decided that seven headsets wasn’t enough and that they’d better make it eight. They launched the wireless Quantum 350, the cheapest wireless headset in their lineup at $99 (official site here). It clearly benefits from the lessons learned from months of feedback, and I think it’s the best headset out of this whole daunting lineup for most users. I can even make a case for it against the more expensive wireless 600 and 800 models, as long as you don’t need a wired connection option.
