HyperX Pulsefire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse Review
When I reviewed the wired version of the HyperX Pulsefire Haste last year, I said it had only one real problem: there was no wireless version available. Otherwise, the mouse was and still is an exemplary PC gaming peripheral. It’s a beautifully designed, light weight mouse with a solid sensor that sells for less than $50.
Not content to merely make one of the greatest and most value-conscious wired gaming mice of all time, HyperX launched a wireless version of the Pulsefire Haste a little earlier this year. Does it hit the same beautiful intersection of price and performance? And if so, can anything else out there top it?
I had the pleasure of attending the virtual press briefing for this mouse and the rest of HyperX’s 2022 product lineup last December. However, in the time since then I’ve stopped taking review units from HyperX and other companies as I’m shifting my focus to cover mostly gaming software.
I was still an eager fan curious to see how this turned out, so I purchased the mouse myself at retail. I never use affiliate links, and even when I was taking samples I would never monetize those review articles directly. You can read my full reviews policy here.
