Corsair M65 RGB Ultra Wireless Gaming Mouse Review
I bought the Corsair M65 RGB Ultra Wireless at a store many months ago with the intent to review it — but I didn’t get around to it till now because I was struggling with how weird it is. It’s different enough from current market norms that it defies both expectation and classification.
Today’s popular wireless gaming mice have super light shells with safe shapes and high performance components. Corsair makes an excellent mouse that plays to these market desires in the Corsair Sabre, which I think is great.
The M65 is very much its own thing. It feels like it fell out of an alternate universe where heavy mice packed with ancillary technologies are the norm, and in that world it would be a great pick. But here in a place full of light sleek options, it’s an extremely odd duck.
I like it, but it has a bunch of qualities that make it the definition of “not for everyone” — and one standout feature that I wish other mouse companies would borrow.
