Corsair HS80 Wireless Gaming Headset Review

The new HS80 from Corsair combines lessons learned from the Virtuoso series with a brand new industrial design and a competitive price. If you’re looking for a PC-centric wireless gaming headset, it’s a solid choice in a crowded field.
Its new design pays off dramatically in terms of comfort, in spite of its overall bulk. And thanks to Corsair’s Slipstream Wireless technology and a large mic capsule, it has one of the best-sounding voice capture qualities I’ve ever heard on a gaming headset.

Note: I bought this headset myself at full retail price. I don’t receive any sort of kick back or other incentive if you decide to buy one. I don’t use affiliate links as I don’t believe in the practice. You can read my full reviews policy right here.

The logos on the ear cups feature full RGB lighting that you can customize with iCUE, and Corsair promises up to 20 hours of battery life — with the lights turned off and the volume turned down.
Alongside the headset and the Slipstream wireless dongle, the box also includes a nice braided USB-C charging cable that…
