I agree with most of your points, as I mentioned in the review I linked at the top of the article you replied to. :)

This article was my firsthand reaction to their marketing launch…and I still think their choice to focus solely on the hi-res audio support, and not the other competitive features of this headset, is a misstep. In the intervening months, a number of other headsets have launched with hi-res certified drivers, and the other features of the Arctis Pro certainly make it a competitor at its price.

It’s definitely more comfortable and slightly more feature-rich than the comparably-priced Astro A40 kit. Although I liked that one much more than you did.
