You’re welcome! It pains me that Sony dropped the build quality ball, and that most reviews, including mine, didn’t catch it right out of the gate.

There’s no excuse for people having to worry that their $300 headphones might break. Hopefully Sony’s warranty department does a better job with the newer model of the 1000X. I’ve never had a bad experience with Bose’s support folks.
