Yes I agree! I avoided going into it too much in the review to help keep it light on spoilers, but I agree that was quite an interesting aspect of the narrative. In fact, I think they could have pushed that exploration even further.

I too hope that the sequel is multi-platform, but its announcement in close proximity to new Xbox hardware and Microsoft’s ownership of the studio both have me extremely doubtful. But stranger things have happened recently with all the cross play initiatives, and with MLB The Show about to release on non-Sony systems, so there’s still a little hope!
