Years ago, I had an Alienware laptop with a 3200 x 1800 screen, and the display scaling experience in Windows was…marginal on the best days. Granted, that was early days for higher-than-1080p resolutions on Windows, but it was discouraging.

Their current implementation is at least better, but it’s still quite behind where I’d like it to be.

I agree that HDR is the secret big new feature here, not resolution, and I’m sure I’ll end up finding a display that suits my needs sometime within the next year.
