I started out as a big skeptic of the Nintendo Switch 2, then I accidentally found one on launch day while I was buying groceries.
Since then, I’ve spent the last month gaming on my Switch 2 almost exclusively, with all other gaming hardware in my house collecting dust. I’m now a huge fan and evangelist for the system, and not just for the obvious reasons. Yes, it’s more powerful. Yes, it has that classic Nintendo mix of new exclusive games like Mario Kart World and weird third party ports with Switch features shoved into them. And yes, it’s totally obsessed with trying to get you to buy a webcam at every turn to use the new GameChat features.
But it’s also got a bunch of smaller things it does right that keep me coming back instead of turning on my PS5 Pro or PC.
