The cheapest but still okay-for-production headphone I’ve ever personally used is the M20X.
If you want to go even cheaper, you might consider the Monoprice 8323’s, which aren’t as accurate-sounding, but do a surprisingly good job for costing almost nothing. The bass is a bit aggressive for mixing, though.
