The $99 price point is crowded with plenty of great options, and both of those are solid choices. The only thing that really irks me about the G Pro/G Pro X is the cheap logo stickers on an otherwise tank-like build, so if you can live with those, I’d probably suggest you go for the Logitech model.

HyperX’s mic doesn’t perform quite as well sound quality wise, but has a higher degree of acoustic background noise cancellation. The two headsets have very similar sound signatures overall, and some of the differences I noted between them have to do with the way they seal around my glasses. I found the G Pro X to be a tiny bit less aggressive than the Alphas in both the bass and treble response.

Basically, they’re similar enough that if you like the look of one better than the other, go for that one. :)
