That’s very true! As I got into in my full review, there’s no denying that the Arctis Pro lineup is feature-packed and priced accordingly.

But it’s really only a product for someone who needs literally everything. And until games have high res audio support, their marketing focus on the standard is….questionable, something Steelseries’ lead audio guy even sort of admits to in this blog post. I think Brian is a great guy
(this blog of his about the tuning of the newer drivers in the Pro is also worth reading), and I wish that the Arctis Pro marketing had focused more on how overall packed-to-the-gills-with-features they were than solely high res support and misleading bar graphs.

I’ve spent the last week with an Arctis 5 2019 edition and it’s an exceptional product (much like the rest of the lineup) at a more competitive price point that I imagine most of my readers will get more value out of. I should have a full review up soon.
