Thanks very much for sharing your insights! I’m jealous that you’re getting to check out a DT1990. I’ve always enjoyed Beyerdynamic gear, in spite of their tendency to prefer a V-shaped response. I have some DT990’s coming in a few days. I’ve never heard their infamous treble peak before, so I figured I should since it’s such a polarizing pair of headphones, haha.
