That’s a bummer, I’m sorry, I don’t know what to tell you! All I had to do was plug in the receiver, and make sure that my default microphone/recording device was set to the Gold Headset in my system preferences.

If that’s not working for you, you might need to contact Sony support about a warranty replacement, especially if it also isn’t working on a PS4.
