This list is based on my personal reviewing experiences, and as such I can only include models I’ve tried during that process. It’s not meant to be an “end-all-be-all” sort of list.

I buy 99 percent of the headphones I review with my personal cash(see my reviews policy here for those rare times I get sent something), and as such I have to be a little choosy about which models I’m covering. On the plus side it means I have a similar stake in the product that a normal customer would.

I didn’t omit Bang & Olufsen’s products for any particular reason other than I’ve never personally tried any of their headphones. But I do have a few of their models on my “potentials” list, as you’re not the first person to say you enjoyed them!
