Thanks to the Cloud II sound card using a standard jack, you’ll be able to experiment once you get your Alphas and find out for yourself!

I’ve never loved the 7.1 that the Cloud II sound card puts out but that’s mostly due to my own personal preferences. But using it with the Alphas won’t degrade the sound. You should still be able to hear the quality improvements made to the ear cup design and the driver response.

As far as virtual surround systems go, I prefer the sound of Razer Surround, and the new Windows Sonic(free) and Dolby Atmos($15) systems that are built into Windows 10 now.

If your Cloud II sound card is no longer working, HyperX sells a standalone version on their web site.
