I’ve received dozens of comments like this on my stories and I’ve developed a habit of blocking the accounts after a quick trip to their profile to try and discern if they’re human. I’ll admit I do also share the truly bad ones with my girlfriend for a laugh, haha.

The short comments are frustrating especially when combined with multiple random highlights. The replies that simply restate a paragraph of my own article without any context are even more bizarre. Even though I’ve become used to the spam over the last several months, it’s still tough to go through the cycle of “ooooh I got a comment, oh never mind” each time.

This has felt like a true nightmare situation from the beginning and I don’t at all envy you having to tackle it. I have no idea how to solve this problem but I’m relieved to hear you guys are working on it.
