A lot of folks find my marketing rant before they see my review, and even though I’ve calmed down since then and the Arctis Pro found a home in my personal collection…I am still frustrated at the way this headset is marketed.

There are only a couple of other gaming-specific products they’re up against at the high end of the market, even at the $179 price of the base version of the headset…and I think as a total package the Arctis Pro is still very good against that particular group. The marketing is just so focused on hi-res audio, instead of how these are better than the Astros, or for that matter, the original Arctis lineup.

That’s still a total miss for me, and it’s why I left the rant article up even though I ended up liking the headset, haha.
