This week, Sony completed the larger non-beta rollout of their new upgraded take on cloud gaming. Previously, their service only offered a selection of PS3 and PS4 games to stream. Now it has PS5 games as well, in addition to an enhanced video bit rate and support for resolutions all the way up to 4K.

You will need a membership to their highest PlayStation Plus Premium tier in order to try it, but you’re also no longer limited to games that are featured in their current subscription catalog. Many games that are outside their current offering are also available to stream if you already own a digital PS5 copy. This could come in handy if you’d like to revisit an older game without re-downloading it, or try out a new release without waiting for it to be installed. Microsoft promised a similar feature a number of months ago for Xbox cloud users — but it hasn’t materialized yet.

Sony’s new service doesn’t have every single PS5 game available yet, but they’ve promised more will come at regular intervals.
