Logitech’s Gaming Keyboards Are Still Behind The Times

High Prices Don’t Guarantee Premium Products

Logitech makes some of the best and most popular gaming mice out there in both the G Pro series and the G502 family. Their exclusive HERO sensor is one of the only mouse tracking systems not directly contributing to the Pixart sensor monopoly, and they’ve been a key innovator in mouse tech for years. As such I think they’ve earned their place at the top of the mouse pile, even if their products aren’t always my favorites.

Their in-house Logitech G audio division is also solid. They make excellent budget offerings that I still use regularly, and have a decent lineup of premium gear mostly thanks to their purchases of both Astro and Blue Microphones.

It’s hard to go too wrong with the company in either of these categories, but if you want to “complete the set” and get a Logitech keyboard to go with your new mouse and headset — it all falls apart. With their keyboards, you’re going to pay a premium price for older tech and designs, missing out on objectively better models from other gaming peripheral companies.

I wasn’t paid or asked by Logitech to write this, and bought the pictured products with my own money.
