It sounds to me like the Alpha would be a great fit for you. It’s affordably-priced, and it has a removable cable unlike the DT770 or Cloud II.

I find the Alpha to have a very natural and clean sound, and I think it’s a slight upgrade over the Cloud II on pure response. The DT770, Cloud II, and M50X all have slightly scultped sound signatures, and honestly, without hearing them for yourself you won’t know which one you like the best.

None of them have quite the magical soundstage of the DT770, which gets there largely through their big rounded ear cups and big velour pads. The pads on the Cloud Alpha don’t provide quite as much room for most ears, but they’re still very comfy.

The Cloud Alpha is a safe headset for me to recommend to just about anyone. The other three you’ve mentioned all have slight quirks that people are going to subjectively love or dislike(with cables, sound signatures, etc.), and without being inside your head and knowing your own audio tastes, it’s harder for me to parse out those details to you.

Happy hunting! Thanks for reading and for the reply.
