I’m glad you’re having a good time in the audio rabbit hole. :) The nice thing about trying a lot of “Standards” like the K371, HD600, and DT880 is you’ll then have a great idea of what your preferences are, and you can quickly skim a review of a newer thing and know whether it might be something you’d enjoy.

A good tip from those more knowledgeable than I, which I like to follow, is to give yourself about a week to adjust to a new pair of headphones, then quickly pop on your old ones to really get a sense of how they’re different. While I don’t really believe in physical burn-in for most pairs, “brain burn-in” is a very real thing. Audio and sense memory are curious, and our brains will slowly adapt to whatever headphones we use over several days.
