If you just need something basic with good sound for music and games, you could always check out the HyperX Cloud Core! It has most of the features of the Cloud II/Cloud Alpha, but doesn’t come with a case or any kind of USB dongle.

If you decide you want different ear pads or a case down the line, or even the USB dongle from the Cloud II…HyperX sells them all separately.

It’s not quite as nice-sounding as the Cloud Alpha, but it has a pretty rugged build, and it shouldn’t set you back more than around $69. It often goes on sale. You could use the money you save to buy a new game or something!

I make this suggestion only because, when I personally am a little unsure about something, I look for soemthing a little cheaper that might suit my needs, rather than splurging on something I’m not totally confident in. Hope that helps you out!
