If Apple ever redesigns their UI, I’ll come running back!

They’re the only major player in the streaming space that has these legacy user experience issues, in my opinion, thanks to their reliance on iTunes designs that are years too old at this point.

I’ll always have Google Play Music to fall back on because I love YouTube Red. I’ve also been playing with Spotify and Amazon Music recently, and while they’re not perfect, I think they’ve both solved several UI challenges more elegantly than Apple.

I miss Apple’s deft use of the AAC codec, the Mastered for iTunes program, and the general integration with the OS when I’m on my MacBook…but I’ll never miss that clunky interface when I’m away from it.
