I totally agree with you, even if I didn’t say it quite as strongly!

I think putting the touchbar above the standard keyboard and reducing the size of the trackpad as a result would both be excellent usability improvements. I use the shortcut/F keys pretty much every day when I’m writing, and I rely on the physical feedback to use them without looking down from the screen.

I guess I would probably eventually adjust if I tried to, but I don’t want to.

If the next MacBook revision doesn’t do anything exciting to me, I probably won’t buy another MacBook when my 2016 12-inch dies.
