I described the differences thoroughly in the review you replied to and even said that the V2 is the "Best" choice if you're just looking to get one of them. I don't normally like to re-state points I already made in a review, but I'll re-summarize.
They don't have the same sound. The V2X has dramatically more energy in the bass. You can see this on objective measurements as well, like these from Rtings:

The V2X has a very warm tilt focused on the bass above everything, whereas the V2 is much closer to a neutral, accurate presentation. It also has nicer padding.
