I always connected the headset either directly to my PC’s USB ports when using it there, or to my Mac through the converter shown in the review.

I think Logitech usually recommends connecting straight to the computer instead of a hub. Is it a non-powered hub? Sometimes, those won’t provide the right amount of power to attached devices, and you may need a hub with a separate power input.
