Hello! I’m sorry to hear your headband and ear pads are peeling. That’s never fun, and unfortunately, it sometimes happens with pleather after extended periods of use over time.
I sold my personal pair last year and I didn’t have this issue, but I’ve clapped for your comment so others can see it and be aware of the possibility.
It’s a bummer that Creative doesn’t seem to offer ear pads separately. I found one third party option on Amazon, but they appear to be out of stock.
At 1.5 years out, you’re slightly past the warranty, but the only thing you could really try at this point is contacting Creative and seeing what they can do for you. They might be able to offer some sort of reduced price replacement/repair. It might amount to nothing, but it never hurts to try.
I enjoy it when companies offer parts directly to users. Razer, HyperX, Steelseries, and Turtle Beach all offer ear pads through their online stores, and it’s a credit to them. Many studio headphone companies do so as well.
