Well, the Grados have a very different character to them than any of the headphones that you’ve selected, and not just because of their open-backed design…although that’s part of it.

Since you say you like mids…I’d go with the WS1100iS out of that list. It’s a semi-open headphone, but it’s one with just enough bass to be fun.

The DT770’s are a little stronger in the treble and the bass than the Grados are, and the Alphas are smoother and a touch less fatiguing for long sessions. And of course they’re the best one for gaming since you don’t have to buy a second microphone.

This is a tough call for me to make with certainty without being able to jump in your head and really understand what you like…but I think the WS1100iS is probably the safest pick given what you’ve told me.
