If you’re talking about the original Razer Krakens, then yes, the Skullcandy’s have a rather different sound. Although both of them are warmer, bass-focused headphones, I think the Crushers have more definition in the mids and highs, particularly if you don’t have the bass slider turned all the way up.

What you’re hearing in the Crushers is closer to how the sound was “meant” to be. If you give yourself a few weeks to adjust, it’ll sound less weird to you!
