Both the Cloud Alpha and the G Pro are more comfy for most people to wear than the M50X, and since gaming sessions can creep over two hours easily, I’d recommend sticking with one of the gaming products especially since you’re also looking for a mic.

The G Pro mic is a little bit nicer than the one on the Alpha, and its audio performance is fairly similar. The only issue I’ve had with the G Pro aside from its shockingly poor surround implementation is that the stickers on the sides aren’t robust at all.

If you’re looking for further alternatives just to make your decision more difficult, also give the Arctis lineup a look. You can’t go wrong with most of the top-recommended $100 headsets at this point, so your personal preferences will play a big role in your decision.
